Wet Leg nominated for four BRIT Awards + will perform at the ceremony on Feb 11th

It has been a monumental 18 months for Wet Leg since they released their debut single “Chaise Longue”. Today, they add another incredible achievement to the list – they have been nominated in four categories at The BRIT Awards 2023: Group of the Year, Best New Artist, Mastercard Album of the Year and Best Rock/Alternative Act. They will also be performing at the ceremony on February 11th 2023.

Of the feat, Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers said: “Somebody hold our horses while we get to grips with this wild news, being nominated for a Brit award is too hard to comprehend, we never could have expected for our wee band to achieve this.”

Before Christmas, the band performed “Wet Dream” on The Jonathan Ross Show and you can hear the new Unknown Mortal Orchestra remix of “Chaise Longue” here.


Additionally, Wet Leg have been confirmed to play Coachella, Reading & Leeds Festival plus will be special guests of Pulp at their comeback gig in London’s Finsbury Park. Ahead of the BRIT Awards, the band start their extensive tour support for Harry Styles and are up for five GRAMMYs on February 5th.
