Spinning Coin shares "Visions At The Stars"

Glasgow’s Spinning Coin are back with their first new music since their debut album Permo was released in 2017. The quartet will release a new 7” single “Visions At The Stars” on August 30th via The Pastels’ Domino imprint Geographic Music. Today, they share the music video for A-side “Visions At The Stars”, filmed by the band in Berlin.

Spinning Coin are Sean Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Jack Mellin (vocals, guitar), Rachel Taylor (bass, vocals, keyboards) and Chris White (drums). The band have an effortless, unpretentious and egalitarian way of working together; rotating songwriter duties for each song. 

Sean Armstrong, who took the reins on this single, says: “It's a celebration of the cosmos, and its infinite, ever-changing nature. It's about how music came into my life like a wind blowing me around, and helped me to travel, and see things that inspired me to change the way I live.”

“Visions At The Stars” was produced by Gregor Reid and Stephen Pastel at Castle of Doom Studios, Glasgow. It will be released as a 7” and digitally.
