Alex G announces Fall/Winter 2021 US tour
1st June 2021
In September of 2019, prolific songwriter Alex G released his ninth studio album, House of Sugar. Met with unanimous critical acclaim, it went on to top numerous Best of the Year lists, cementing his status as one of the hardest working and most innovative indie musicians around today.
Having had his 2020 tour scrapped due to the pandemic, Alex has announced a tour for this upcoming Fall/Winter today. Including a show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles with Caroline Polachek, Riot Fest in Chicago, III Points Festival in Miami, and two nights at Webster Hall in New York City, the run will weave across the US between August and December 2021. Tickets will be on sale Friday, June 4 @ 10am local, grab them here: http://sandyalexg.com/
Alex recently composed his first film score for Jane Schoenbrun’s We’re All Going To The World’s Fair, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in January 2021, and was picked up earlier this month for distribution by HBO Max and Utopia. More info on the film is available here.

House of Sugar - (Sandy) Alex G’s ninth overall album and his third for Domino - is a highly meticulous, cohesive album: a statement of artistic purpose, showing off his ear for both persistent earworms and sonic adventurism.
