Lou Barlow shares video for Apocalypse Fetish

To celebrate the release of 'Apocalypse Fetish', his latest solo EP, Lou Barlow has shared the video from the title track. Recently speaking to Consequence of Sound about the video, Lou says:

“This is my second attempt at making a video. My first was this for my cover of -that- Peter Gabriel song. This one is for the title track of my Apocalypse Fetish EP. It features images of me not lip synching cut with various clips of the brave, super patriots who drive pick up trucks with flags hanging off the back. I made a request on FaceBook for some video examples of these tailgating Super Americans, got a few and then filled out the rest of the vid with found clips of ‘rolling coal’ (the practice of tail pipes blowing black plumes of smoke), tips for proper gun burial, a well-stocked gun safe and some good ol’ fashioned ‘shooting at nothing’ from true life Apocalypse Fetishists. My editing skills are sub-par but I submitted this as an official vid anyway. God bless iMovie.. and America of course!”

The Apocalypse Fetish EP is available on limited edition neon yellow coloured vinyl (RUG790TX), CD (RUG790CD), and is out now.
