Hen Ogledd announce Europe tour dates for 2019
1st March 2019
Following the release of their critically acclaimed album, Mogic, Hen Ogledd have announced new Spring live dates + a string of UK festival appearances. The tour, spanning the UK, Ireland, France and Belgium is their biggest run of live shows to date. Festival appearances include Green Man and Supersonic.
The band consisting of Richard Dawson, Sally Pilkington, Dawn Bothwell and harpist, Rhodri Davies take their name of Hen Ogledd from the Welsh name for The Old North. Mogic is Hen Ogledd’s third LP and is their most surprising and accessible work yet. It is a discombobulating pop prayer exploring artificial intelligence, witches, nanotechnology, pre-medieval history, robots, romance, computer games and waterfalls.
