Thao Nguyen and Merrill Garbus trailer parody for A Man Alive

Thao Nguyen, singer, songwriter and front-woman of critically-acclaimed San Francisco-based band Thao & The Get Down Stay Down, stars alongside collaborator and friend Merrill Garbus (Tune-Yards) in a parody of The New York Times’ recent Justin Bieber/Diplo/Skrillex video piece. The video finds Nguyen and Garbus breaking down the creative process behind the Thao & the Get Down Stay Down track ‘Astonished Man’.
