Steve Mason shares Shabaka (Sons of Kemet) remix of "No More"

Steve Mason has today announced both a U.K. headline tour in December of this year and shared a Shabaka remix of ‘No More’ a track from his most recent album Brothers & Sisters, which came out on Double Six in March of this year.

Talking about the spiritual, psychedelic, percussion driven remix from musician, bandleader, composer and one of the leading lights of UK modern jazz, Shabaka Hutchings, Steve said:

"The Third Kushite Pharaoh of Egypt has been busy exploring raw communications through Jazz. With over 2000 years of knowledge to draw on I was lucky enough to ask him to press pause on his travels and remix a piece from Brothers & Sisters, he accepted! We are lucky! The Shabaka Gate is open!"

Having previously played a run of headline shows in Spring of this year, including a sold-out Electric Ballroom in London, the list of forthcoming dates is as follows:
