
Job Opportunity: Synchronisation Assistant

Based in our London office, Domino Publishing seeks a Synchronisation Assistant.
This is an exciting opportunity for a new graduate or individual with office experience able to demonstrate sound business sense coupled with a passion for music. Our ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of music rights with the ability to take ownership of projects from license to paperwork. Our growing catalogue requires an ability to appreciate a wide-ranging catalogue of music. We are especially interested to meet candidates able to demonstrate their passion for music and eagerness to learn to administer and negotiate synchronisation licenses. With our active roster, the candidate should also enjoy attending gigs. This role will report directly to the Head of Synchronisation who is super keen to impart their knowledge and train some new talent in the art of synchronisation licensing.
He or she must be able to commit to regular after-hours events and welcome the chance to meet and engage new contacts. A fluent second language useful.
Key accountabilities include:
- Cover enquiries in the general synchronisation inboxes – acknowledging receipt of emails / seeking information from clients
- Collating the information needed to quote – terms and conditions
- cover email and phones whilst HOS is in meetings
- licensing work
- Administering paperwork, Flagging deal expiry and option renewals
- Send audio files and assets
- Organise release schedules
- Updating social network / website as requested by HOS’
- Attend gigs
