Franz Ferdinand reveals "This Fffire" Cyberpunk Edgerunners video
25th November 2022
The producers of the recent Netflix hit series Cyberpunk Edgerunners, have today shared a visually striking anime video to accompany the show’s theme, Franz Ferdinand’s "This Fffire".
The show, which was first aired in September of this year and is a collaboration between CD Projekt (the celebrated Polish games developer & publisher behind The Witcher series & Cyberpunk 2077) & Studio Trigger (the noted Japanese animation studio behind Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia) is based on the Cyberpunk Universe created by Mike Pondsmith.
Going on to become one of the highest rated shows this year on Rotten Tomatoes, Cyberpunk Edgerunners tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in a technology and body modification-obsessed city of the future.
The video, which features clips from the show, is launched ahead of Franz Ferdinand’s final shows of their Hits To The Head world tour.
The two shows in Japan mark the end of the global sell out tour to promote their greatest hits collection, Hits To The Head, which was released in March this year on Domino. The tour included 3 sold-out U.K. dates in Glasgow, Manchester and London, where they played at Alexandra Palace.
The final shows of the world tour are as follows:
28.11.22 – Tokyo Garden Theatre - TOKYO
30.11.22 – Namba Hatch - OSAKA
