Biography
Throughout the 1990s the recordings of Flying Saucer Attack, the duo of Dave Pearce and Rachel Brook, represented a form of sonic resistance. Their handcrafted albums made under the aegis "home taping is re-inventing music" form a peerless collection of British semi-rural kosmische, tape hiss psychedelia and four-track overload. In 2015, Pearce released the first Flying Saucer Attack LP in over a decade, a restatement of outsider purpose and of the will to continue exploring.

Flying Saucer Attack’s self-titled debut album, originally released in 1993, was commonly described as ‘Rural Psychedelia’ – an apt description for the rough-hewn soundscapes they crafted. Recording directly on to a four-track resulted in a thick, distorted, abrasive sound that suited his needs perfectly.
