Domino are pleased to reissue Bright Phoebus – Songs By Lal And Mike Waterson on 4th August, this will be the first time since its release the album will be widely available. Additionally under the supervision of David Suff (Topic/Fledg'ling) and Marry Waterson (daughter of Lal), the album has been remastered from the original tapes.
A year after James Hinton aka The Range released Potential, his breakthrough full-length album and Domino debut, he has returned with new music. Coming in the form of a 12” double A-side, The Range today releases two tracks – ‘New Lots’; and ‘With You’, a collaboration with producer Jim-E Stack.
The Minneapolis-based rock outfit, Night Moves, created one of 2016’s catchiest songs - ‘Carl Sagan’ off of their sophomore album Pennied Days. ‘Kind Luck,’ one of the bands more mystical and graceful tunes from the same album, sees a new live performance video, directed by Dan Huiting. Last month, it was announced that Bright Phoebus – Songs by Lal and Mike Waterson would be remastered and reissued on 4th August through Domino. This is the first time since its release that the album will be widely available. Today, we share another track from the album, ‘Fine Horseman’. Described by Martin Carthy as a “beautiful yearning love song”, it’s nonetheless one which plays out like a fleeting, fantastical distraction from the rigours of mere survival.

Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy recently released Best Troubador, his homage to a long-time hero Merle Haggard. He is now pleased to confirm a new UK live date next month at London’s Union Chapel where he will be supported by London Sacred Harp. This will be Mr Will Oldham’s first solo show in London for quite some time and as is expected with all Bonnie activities, it will be a night not to be missed.
